Products I love!

Maybelline Full N' Soft Mascara is my new best friend.  I feel like everything I've tried looks so crispy and you can't reapply later.  That's not the case with this beauty.  It does exactly what it says it's going to do.  I like that in a product!
And the beauty advice that changed my life....
Apply mascara while looking down into a hand mirror and fan the lashes up.  I've always applied mascara straight on.  Well, this did nothing for my tiny, half asian lashes.  Ever since I started applying mascara while looking down into a mirror, I feel like my lashes look fake.  It's honestly the best beauty tip I've ever received.

Since having kids, getting my nails has been one of those things that had to go.  There's just no time for it sadly.  So, I've been doing my nails for about 3 years and have finally found a nail polish that doesn't chip.  I am very hard on my hands and I wash them about 50 times a day (2 kids, remember!)  I've tried everything and at about day 2 it usually starts to chip.  I recently purchased OPI base coat, nail polish and top coat and it lasted a good 10 days which is pretty much a miracle for me.  Gels don't even last me that long.  Anyway, I was excited.

The Beco Baby Carrier has been my lifesaver with 2 kids.  Having your hands free is a must.  If one is crying when the other needs dinner, I just put the baby in the carrier and he's happy.  It's a beautiful thing!  He just loves to be snuggled up close to Momma.  I've tried other carriers (that shall remain nameless) and there are some that are easier to put on, but in the long run, it's not easier at all.  With other carriers my back, shoulders and neck are aching and in the end, I'm in need of a massage!  With my Beco I feel like the weight is evenly distributed.  The straps are padded and the baby feels secure.  Best of all, I'm not in pain when I take it off.  This is my carrier recommendation : )

(this is not me but this is a picture of the carrier I have)

I love Trader Joe's Sunflower Seed butter.  It's perfect if your child can't bring PB & J to school and tastes almost as good as Trader Joe's all natural Peanut Butter...I said, almost!  It's been perfect for apples, sandwiches, toast in the morning.  Try it out!!

I'm obsessed with this book!  For the past couple years, I've been using this book as a reference guide whenever something goes awry with my body.  If I'm feeling sluggish, or if I have a headache...if you have skin issues, wanna lose weight or want healthier hair...she talks about it all.  I mean everything (there's a lot I won't mention ; ) )   It is an amazing guide to eating your absolute cleanest and steps you can take feel your best.  Dr. Gillian McKeith is a world renowned holistic nutritionist and she can tell you what's wrong just by having you look at your skin color, your tongue, your eyes....it's crazy.
I used to drink a ton of caffeine on a daily basis and yet, I was always tired.  Now I don't drink any and I've never had so much natural energy.  It's quite a concept...simply eat the foods that can fuel you naturally.  It's so true, you are what you eat!

I have to say, I enjoy many things about being pregnant but there are a few things I miss. Jacuzzi's, red wine, sushi, my Applegate Turkey, avocado sandwiches on brown rice toast, and I especially miss tea! I have an entire cabinet in my house dedicated to my many teas. Fruity teas, green teas, herbal teas...I love all of it.
So, it only took me 6 months, but I just came across a tea that I love (and that's allowed when you're pregnant!) Apparently, the ingredients in this tea support the uterus during pregnancy & it's meant to help calm and soothe you and your tummy. It has raspberry leaf, spearmint, peppermint, anise and more. Great for morning & night!
Just had to share : )
